Ideas

I like Paul Graham. Recently I was reading his essay on starting startups. He attempts to demystify the concept of the great idea. According to Paul a great idea isn’t all that important. He believes that in the process of doing the right idea will evolve. Specifically I enjoyed when Paul wrote that ideas do not have to be new. In his words, “What people have now is often so bad that it doesn’t take brilliance to do better… look at something people are trying to do, and figure out how to do it in a way that doesn’t suck.”
