One Down Two to Go

Everybody asks me if I’m getting an iPhone. My mom asks me, my girlfriend asks me, my friends ask me and my boss asks me. I give them all the same answer. The iPhone lacks three things that I need:

1. High Speed Data Access (aka HSPDA)
2. Laptop Tethering for Mobile Data Access
3. Microsoft Outlook Calendar and Mail Syncing

It looks like one of those may be going away. According to the gadget blog electronista (via Gizmodo ) the Europeans will be getting a 3G iPhone on November 12th. I would assume that means a 3G iPhone in the United States at the same time (unless Apple wants to stir up more internet trouble).

Maybe I’ll just have to wait for the HTC manufactured, Linux powered Google phone?
